XCMG Micro and Electric Excavators Shine in Wuhan

Under the theme “United for a Shared Future, Advancing Toward Wuhan,” the 2025 (7th) Mini Excavator Conference and Small Equipment Demonstration was grandly held in Wuhan, Hubei. At the XCMG booth, the new XE10U micro excavator stole the show. Powered by a high-output engine and dual-speed travel motors, it offers strong torque, smooth mobility, and excellent performance in tight spaces with its compact 750mm width.

XCMG also introduced the XE60EV pure electric excavator, a symbol of the brand’s green innovation. Featuring zero emissions, low noise, and minimal vibration, it supports one-hour fast charging and up to six hours of continuous operation — ideal for municipal projects, landscaping, and farm upgrades.

Meanwhile, the XE60WGA and XE80WG wheeled excavators drew attention for their high mobility and versatile adaptability. Their electronic control systems enable smooth starts and optimal fuel efficiency, performing efficiently across urban streets and rugged terrains alike.

During the live demonstrations, XCMG operators impressed the audience with precision challenges such as ping-pong ball scooping and calligraphy performances — vividly showcasing the brand’s advanced control technology.

Exploring the Future of Compact Equipment
With the ongoing boom in infrastructure, demand for efficient, flexible, and precise mini excavators continues to grow. XCMG has developed a full lineup of 1–4 ton mini excavators in both diesel and electric variants, featuring extendable undercarriages and multi-tool compatibility. The company’s 6–8 ton wheeled excavators further enrich its product portfolio, providing diverse and efficient solutions for various working conditions.
