XCMG Launches All-Season Electric Sweeper

Recently, XCMG introduced its latest all-season sanitation solution—the XCMG New Energy Four-Season Sweeper—designed to address the demanding challenges of winter road maintenance in northern regions. As temperatures drop below 0°C, traditional washing and sweeping vehicles often leave road surfaces frozen after operation, resulting in reduced cleaning effectiveness and increased safety risks for pedestrians. XCMG’s new model provides a comprehensive answer to these issues with enhanced safety, efficiency, and adaptability.

Engineered for winter operation, the sweeper enables seamless switching between dry and wet cleaning modes. In freezing conditions, operators can switch to dry sweeping with a single command to prevent road icing and ensure stable performance. A fully enclosed, sealed air duct system effectively prevents leakage and secondary dust pollution, restoring road surface cleanliness efficiently. The system supports rapid mode switching from inside the cab, enabling reliable operation in rain, snow, and humid environments, ensuring true all-weather, four-season functionality.

The model features a high-efficiency pulse dust removal system with a 144m² filtration area and a one-click cleaning function, significantly reducing airborne dust emissions. Combined with mature dual-pulse technology, the system promotes effective dust settling within the hopper, improving environmental performance.

To enhance winter response capabilities, the sweeper supports flexible installation of snow removal attachments such as snow plows and snow brushes. This eliminates the need for dedicated snow equipment procurement and greatly strengthens emergency handling capacity, maximizing equipment utilization.

In full washing and sweeping mode, the vehicle delivers strong cleaning performance with a sweeping capacity of up to 70,000 m² per hour. A 7.6 m³ fresh water tank enables extended operation without frequent refilling, improving overall productivity. Multiple working modes—including road surface washing, sweeping, curb and vertical surface cleaning, spraying, and hand-held high-pressure cleaning—allow the vehicle to adapt to diverse sanitation scenarios.

Cost efficiency is another highlight. With multi-function integration, the model reduces equipment purchase requirements for sanitation departments, lowering investment costs and improving asset utilization. Equipped with CATL battery technology, the vehicle ensures stable power output even in extremely low temperatures, reducing maintenance needs and improving operational reliability.
